The agreement between you and Echo Cards: what we provide, what you are responsible for, and how either of us can end it.
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These terms are between you and Echo Heights Agency of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, which operates Echo Cards. Using Echo Cards means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company or a committee, you are confirming you are allowed to.
Echo Cards does four things for an event you are organising:
We may change or improve how these work. If a change removes something you rely on, we will tell you before it happens.
You pay per invitation rather than a subscription, and a double invitation admits two people for one charge. Your quote is the price. We give you a figure for your event before anything is sent, and that figure is what you owe — this page does not set rates, deliberately, so that there is only ever one number and it is the one you were given.
Invoices are payable on the terms stated on the invoice. We can hold sending on an event whose invoice is outstanding, and we will tell you before we do rather than letting an event fail silently.
Invitations that have already been sent are not refundable. If something goes wrong on our side we will put it right, which usually means resending at our own cost.
The guest list is yours. You keep it, you can export it, and we use it only to run your event. The privacy policy sets out how it is handled and who else sees it.
In return, you are confirming that you have a reason to hold your guests' numbers and that they would expect to hear from you about this event. This is the one obligation in these terms we would actually enforce: the product sends messages to people who never visited this site, and a list acquired without a basis turns an invitation into spam and puts both of us in front of the regulator.
You also agree to:
We will run the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise it will be available without interruption, and we do not publish an uptime figure — a number we cannot evidence is worth nothing to you.
Delivery of a WhatsApp message or an SMS depends on networks and platforms nobody controls. We will send it, retry it and show you what happened to it; no provider can guarantee a particular handset receives a particular message.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to what you have paid us for the event the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You can stop using Echo Cards at any time, and ask us to delete your data — the privacy policy explains how. Invoices for work already done remain payable.
We can suspend or close an account that is being used to send unsolicited messages, that is interfering with the service, or that has an invoice long overdue. Except where the reason makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
On the way out, ask and we will export your guest lists and your event records in a format you can use.
The Echo Cards software, brand and the designs we produce belong to Echo Heights Agency. The content you supply — your names, your photographs, your wording — remains yours, and you are giving us permission to use it for the purpose of running your event and for nothing else.
If we would like to show your event in our Acknowledgements page, we will ask you first.
These terms are governed by the laws of Tanzania, and the courts of Dar es Salaam have jurisdiction. If something goes wrong, talk to us before that becomes relevant — most things are settled with a phone call.
We may update these terms. If a change affects you materially we will email account holders rather than only moving the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Echo Cards after a change means you accept it.
